MATCHING ITEMS (bill item with library items)
A time saving tool when pricing imported, unpriced bills.
Key Features:
- Match imported items with selected rates already available in your item library
- The rate buildup from the matched item is copied directly into your bill item
- Match using any types of library data - your own items, price book items, composite items, resources, etc.
To match a bill item:
- Select the bill item to be matched
- Start the 'Match with Library' function to open the 'floating' window displaying your library data
- Locate the library data to be used as the match (tabs)
- Items available for matching are highlighted in the Bill Page in green. Only these highlighted items may be matched
- Use the Match function OR simply drag and drop the required rate/resource onto the bill item to copy the buildup
Notes:
- You can match an imported (text only) item with any library item - they don't have to have the same description.
- Items to be matched must have no existing buildup and are displayed with a coloured highlight on the left of the matching screen
